Open Banking for Serbia

Built for Serbia's
financial future

Serbia's banks are modern. Its banking infrastructure isn't. OpenDinar is the missing layer — a neutral API that connects any app to any Serbian bank, securely and with user consent.

The problem we're solving

Serbian banks have robust, modern core systems. But there's no standard way for apps to connect to them. Every company that needs bank data — a lending startup, a budgeting app, a payroll tool — has to negotiate separate agreements with each bank and build custom integrations from scratch.

That means months of legal work, inconsistent APIs, and integrations that break every time a bank updates its system. OpenDinar is the bridge that didn't exist.

What we actually are

OpenDinar is not a bank. We don't hold your money. We're a neutral infrastructure layer — like a power grid for financial data. Apps plug into us; we plug into banks.

We handle the consent flow, the secure data transfer, the enrichment, and the compliance. You get clean, structured financial data through a single modern REST API.

Where we are today: the API is built and running, and any developer can build against our free sandbox. Connecting to real Serbian bank accounts requires a licence from the National Bank of Serbia, which we are in the process of obtaining. Until then, every piece of data OpenDinar returns is simulated test data.

What we stand for

🔓

Open by design

Financial data belongs to the person it's about. We build every product around explicit user consent — no data moves without permission.

🔐

Security by default

We don't bolt security on at the end. AES-256 encryption at rest, HMAC-signed webhooks, hashed API keys, consent with an expiry date — it's all built in from day one.

Built for developers

We judge ourselves by how fast a developer can go from signup to first API call. Clean REST, predictable responses, detailed errors. No friction.
